After the Toronto Raptors became the 2019 NBA Champions, the company I work for was honoured with the task of making the banner that would hang proudly above the court at Scotiabank Arena. With it being such a historical moment for us and the city, we went to the opening ceremony and captured the reveal to a sold-out stadium on film.
I've been involved with hundreds of video related projects but this one truly stands out as something special for me. I remember how excited I was when the Raptors had finally done it and became champions, the long journey they faced to get there, the buzzer-beating shot. It was so prolific for myself and thousands if not millions of Torontonians to witness.
